Background:
Both, my wife and I were born in Athens.
We visited Lesvos, an island in the N.E. Aegaean Sea, in 1986 during our holidays.
Our steps led us to Kalloni where we finally settled and we have been living there since then.
We had been creating jewels as amateurs but in 1989 we set up a workshop in Kalloni where we worked professionally making hand made jewels. Since 1991 we have been taking part in exhibitions of our field such Gold-Silver of PO .VA.CO. and Geek creations of A.O which is the best exhibition as far as silver jewels are concerned in Greece.
We used to sell only wholesale. In 1995 we started our own retail shop in Kalloni where we display not only our creations but also selected jewels made by Greek artists.

Our work:
Our designs are inspired from the Byzantine period of Greek history but since inspiration and ideas do not get moulded so our designs have the plainness and harmony of the classic period combined with the simplicity and sensitivity of popular craftsmen of the 18 th century.
We attempt to join various techniques and follow modern trends of our age.
Our aim is to create jewels that not only last in time but at the same time fascinate
Besides usual sets of jewels (bracelets, neklaces, earrings, rings) or single items we create keyrings, string of beads (chaplet), money clips, cuff-link, wedding wreaths and small boxes.

Materials:
We usually prefer semi precious stones such us garnet, amber, lapis lazouli, coral, amethyst, agate like carneol, turquoise, but also precious such as rubies, pearls, and opals.
We intend to integrate the stones in the design trying to enchance the beauty of the jewel.
Most of our jewels are made of silver 925 but several designs combine silver with gold 18 carats while there are also some gold ones.
Precious metals particularly silver have an inner glow of their own which no technique or treatment can fully liberate.
Only when they are worn do jewels show their real beauty.
So don't hesitate to wear them.
